If you are not familiar with Twitter, one of the best ways to get familiar with Twitter is to use the search site.  http://search.twitter.com You don’t even need a Twitter account to start searching.  I mentioned at lunch that you can search for Job opportunities using this function.  An easy way to do that is just to put in what your are looking for, example: wanted Project Manager
People post job openings on Twitter all of the time with a link to the full details of the job listing.  You can also use the Advanced search to narrow the search down to a location.  Just a note, you might get some results that really don’t match at all but the majority should be relevant.

Also, another great way to use Twitter if you create a Twitter account is to post that you are looking for job opportunities.  I see people post this type of tweet once or twice a day.  The posting will need to be brief – 140 characters or less, but you can add a shortened link to your resume if you have it on a webpage.
